The purpose of LAGA is to develop a strong academic network of scholars in Latin America, United States, Canada and the rest of the world, whose common interest is to explore the Gothic in its several cultural and media manifestations. Given the multicultural identity of the region, LAGA uses three different languages English, Portuguese and Spanish. We welcome proposals for articles, blog posts, book reviews and interviews not only on Gothic manifestations in Latin America, but also on its other expressions around the world.
El propósito de LAGA es desarrollar una amplia red de académicos en Latinoamérica, Estados Unidos, Canadá y el resto del mundo. El interés común es el explorar las diversas manifestaciones culturales y mediáticas del Gótico. Dada la identidad multicultural de la región, LAGA utiliza las tres lenguas; español, inglés y portugüés. Aceptamos propuestas de artículos, contribuciones a nuestro blog, además de reseñas de libros y entrevistas alrededor no sólo del Gótico en Latinoamérica, sino también de sus manifestaciones en el resto del orbe.
